Effective March 18, East Fallowfield Township has issued an Declaration of Disaster Emergency. This declaration allows the Township to more rapidly respond to the growing COVID-19 crisis by enacting our emergency responses. This will also enable us to tap additional aid if need be.
East Fallowfield Township has released its Proposed 2020 Budget and Proposed Capital Improvement Program.
There is no proposed increase in the Real Estate Tax millage rate, while also maintaining all current services. The current trash fee ($275) will not increase.
The 2020 Budget also proposes a separate fund for Trash. “The goal of the new Trash Fund is to increase transparency and also help the Township make better financial decisions by more easily showing the incomes and expenses related only to trash and recycling collection,” said Township Manager Scott Swichar.
Adoption is scheduled for the December 17 Board of Supervisors meeting.
