The Chester County Solid Waste Authority has provided the 2012 dates for hazardous waste pick up events. The schedule can be viewed here. Additional information for regional pickup sites can be obtained by going to www.chestercountyswa.org.

Volunteers are needed for the Friends of the Park. Interested East Fallowfield residents should contact Denise Miller at 610-384-7144.

The Township does not allow parking on township streets or roads at any time. Residents who need on-street parking will have to notify the police before the event (610-384-9163). Violators will be issued parking tickets. The only exception to this rule is Jane Street and Newlinville Road.

Reminders

Cardboard is recyclable and should be put out with your recycling, not with trash. Due to the limitations of the recycling trucks, it must be no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet. Bundles must be no larger than 12 inches. Please do not tape it together. It should be tied or placed into a paper bag.

Filing for permit applications: You must have the contractor's liability, worker's compensation insurance, and a copy of the Pa. registration submitted with your permit application. If you do not have worker's compensation insurance, a waiver form must be completed and notarized. The waiver must be submitted with the application.

If you would like to be on the BOS agenda under Citizen's by Request you must inform the Township Office the Thursday before the meeting.

Every 2nd Monday of the month the Public Works department will do road side chipping for 15 minutes free. You must place your brush in the Twp right-of-way and off of your property and call the Township to make an appointment.
Also - on the 2nd Saturday of each month the compost will be open from 8am - 2pm for residents of East Fallowfield only to dispose of branches and brush.

The Doe Run Church Rd bridge is NOW OPEN with a 15 ton weight limit.
"Hats Off To Our Heroes" Park & Rec Event
The East Fallowfield Township Park & Recreation Commission will be hosting a "Hats Off To Our Heroes" Memorial Day picnic on Monday May 28th at noon. The event will begin with a flag ceremony at the Patriotic Landmark, followed by refreshments, music by the band "4 Way Street", and crafts for the children. Please bring a blanket to sit on, and a donation of new men's or women's socks, T-Shirts, or underwear to be collected by "David's Drive" (a local non-profit supporting the needs of our veterans) to donate to the VA Hospital.
