Filing for permit applications: You must have the contractor's liability, worker's compensation insurance, and a copy of the Pa. registration submitted with your permit application.  If you do not have worker's compensation insurance, a waiver form must be completed and notarized.  The waiver must be submitted with the application.  

Effective June 7, the Township will no longer pick up grass clippings. It is recommended that you allow grass to remain on your lawn after cutting. If you do remove the grass clippings after mowing, York Waste will pick up a maximum of 4 bags weighing no more than 30 pounds each when they collect your trash. You may put 1 (one) bulk item out per week. If you want to put out a rug, you must cut it into 4 ft long sections which don't exceed 40 lbs each, roll them up, and tie them.  Each piece counts as one bulk item.
