The Strategic Planning Steering Committee as an advisory body of the Township to: assist the planners in the preparation of the Plan; deliberate, solicit and accept public comment as to various aspects of the above-referenced planning; and to craft appropriate recommendations for the implementation of the strategic planning, which will include a discussion and prioritization of various transportation, land use and ordinance enhancements to be considered by the Township. The Committee shall consist of up to nine (9) members appointed by the Township Board of Supervisors, who may consist, inter alia, of members or representatives of the Township Board of Supervisors, the Township Planning Commission, Township staff, other Township commissions, Township residents, local business owners, representatives or designees of the Coatesville Area School Board, and representatives of emergency services providers servicing the Township. Members of the Committee shall be appointed for a term of one (1) year.
