Continuing the trend of increasing traffic safety, East Fallowfield Township has installed eight additional stop signs in the Township’s Brook Crossing neighborhood. Over the past year, the Township has worked closely with the Brook Crossing Homeowner’s Association (HOA) to address pedestrian/traffic safety and discuss traffic calming solutions for the neighborhood. As a result of the discussions, the Township subsequently completed a traffic study which confirmed speeding/safety issues and justified the need for all-way stop signs at four intersections in the neighborhood.
The following intersections now have multi-way (all-way) stop controls in addition to new pavement markings (stop bars):
Crossing Boulevard and Magpie Lane
Magpie Lane and Corbit Way/Salmon Lane
Nassau Lane and Salmon Lane
Magpie Lane and Nassau Lane
Please use extreme caution while drivers are becoming acquainted with the new signs. East Fallowfield Township Police have added patrols to the neighborhood to enforce compliance with the new stop signs.
