East Fallowfield Township has an important update regarding the progress of our initiative to provide new replacement trash and recycling containers and remove old trash and recycling containers.
Week of December 18-22: Every household in the Township currently receiving trash and recycling services will receive replacement 95 -gallon trash and recycling carts as part of the new program with A.J. Blosenski that begins on January 1, 2024. The new carts will be delivered directly to each address. No appointments are necessary, and you do not need to be home to receive your new trash or recycling carts. Please note that your trash and recycling carts will likely be delivered to your address on separate days during the week of December 18.
IMPORTANT: Use your existing Waste Management trash and recycling containers until December 31, 2023. *Do NOT use the new replacement trash and recycling carts until the first collection in 2024!
Friday, December 22, 2023-Saturday, December 23: Waste Management collects trash from entire Township and collects recycling from the WEST side of Township. Note: Waste Management will remove your recycling carts (with recyclables inside) from the WEST side of Township. Please only use your existing Waste Management trash and recycling containers! The Township expects collection of your old recycling bins will take up to two days. Please leave them curbside until they are removed! .
Friday, December 29, 2023- Sunday, December 31: Waste Management collects trash from entire Township. Note: Waste Management will remove the TRASH containers (with trash inside) from the entire Township. Waste Management also collects recycling from the EAST side of the Township. Note: Waste Management will remove recycling carts (with recyclables inside) from the EAST side of Township. Please only use existing Waste Management trash and recycling containers. The Township expects collection of your old trash and recycling containers could take up to a week. Please leave them curbside until they are removed!
January 1, 2024: New Collection Contract with A.J. Blosenski Begins. Note: Please begin using the new replacement trash and recycling carts during the first collection in 2024!
