Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 6:30pm, in the East Fallowfield Township Building, 2264 Strasburg Road, East Fallowfield, PA, the Board of Supervisors of East Fallowfield Township shall consider for adoption the following proposed Chapter 18B-102 Connection to Public Sewers Required amendment.

 

Title:   

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EAST FALLOWFIELD, CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING CHAPTER 18B, MUNICIPAL SEWER SYSTEMS SECTION 18B-102.1, CONNECTION TO PUBLIC SEWERS REQUIRED.

 

Summary:       

Section 1: amends Section 18B-102.1 to address optional public sewage system connection for properties within 150 feet of a system and provides that the Township, at its discretion, may require any property within 150 feet of a public sewage system to connect to such system if the property contains a failing on-lot system;

Section 2: provides for the severability of the Ordinance; 

Section 3: repeals any provision of the code that are inconsistent with the Ordinance;

Section 4: provides the effective date of the Ordinance.
