Strategy to Address TMDLs in the Christina Watershed
East Fallowfield Township, Chester County has made application to PADEP for a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Individual Permit for Stormwater Discharges from small MS4s. The Notice of Intent (NOI) contains a revised Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Strategy for the Christina Basin, which describes proposed measures to be taken to address impaired surface waters within the designated Urbanized Area for the Township.
The revised Strategy is available for public review at the Township Building located at 2264 Strasburg Road, East Fallowfield, PA 19320 during regular business hours, with the exception of Township holidays. The revised Strategy has also been posted on the Township website, www.eastfallowfield.org. Written comments from the public will be accepted for a period of 30 days from the date of this public notice. The Strategy will also be presented during the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors Workshop on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the Township Building at which time verbal or written comments from any interested member of the public will also be accepted.
